The GMAT Math (Quantitative) section is designed to test your ability to reason mathematically, to understand basic math terminology, and to recall basic mathematic formulae and principles. You should be able to solve problems and apply relevant mathematics concepts in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis.
The GMAT Math section includes Problem Solving questions, each with five answer choices (A–E), as well as Data Sufficiency questions, each with five possible answers (A–E). As with all sections on the computer adaptive GMAT, you must answer each math question before you can move on to the next question.
