Magoosh is a play on the Old Persian word "magush" meaning "one who is highly learned, wise, and generous."
Our Story
While studying for the GMAT, the Magoosh founders grew frustrated by the lack of online test prep options that were right for them. The big companies were priced high and focused on features most test takers would never use. The small companies had varying quality, resulting in poor user experience. Magoosh strives to provide high quality, affordable, easy-to-use test prep.
